The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out; the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. The brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They are there to stop the other people!
-A quote by the late Randy Pausch, a Computer Science professor at Carnegie Mellon University. I read this quote in the book the last lecture, which he wrote during the last months of his life after he’s diagnosed to have a terminal cancer. The book is more like a recollection of Randy’s life, and is quite a light reading. Still, it’s an inspiring one nonetheless.
